    Best time to visit Hungary

The best time to visit Hungary is during spring (May and June), since the beautiful landscapes are at their best. For visiting the mountains around Budapest or the highlands in the north the fine time is autumn. Athough winters are charming but due to the sheer cold, some tourist spots and other places and museums are closed. Weather in June to August is very warm. Hungary is quite a rainy country and it is likely to rain all year round.
